Bay 1 Ice Cream & Sandwich Shop in Indian Shores

When it comes to ice cream and good beach desserts this place is the real legit deal. Too much ice cream out there just tastes "commercial" and not all that original. This ice cream is that cant-find-it-in-stores quality and hits whatever sweetspot you have with their creative array of flavors. I discovered them through bitesquad but stop in and meet them! Very kind crew and they will be happy to serve up any flavor mix you're looking for.

Just had a Cuban sandwich, crab empanada,and spinach and artichoke empanada. Literally the best Cuban I've ever eaten. The empanadas were amazing. I loved them both but for me, the crab was second to none. Amazing customer service. The chocolate ice cream milkshake was on point too. Definitely recommend.

We stopped by here today with the family. It’s April 25, 2020 and covid has the beaches shut down. The owners (I assume) were working. They could not have been more gracious. I asked how business has been...I could see they were struggling. The law says only 3 people allowed in the store at anytime...all the tourists are gone, the rentals are empty. But they had the most amazing attitude, I can’t stop thinking about how this is going on all over the world. I have a small business, but little overhead. I have no rent to pay and no inventory to buy or move. The ice cream was great but hey, when it comes to ice cream I’m not too picky. But because of the owners, I will definitely be back for for ice cream and anything else I can eat :)

The owners are so nice and they sell more than just icecream! Their empanadas were delicious and made fresh!

This is a little dive, but they have delicious ice cream... and my favorite flavor, Superman Ice Cream! 🍦 They don't have my favorite Waffle Cone Bowls (like my other favorite local place, Kilwin's) and their Waffle Cones they do have don't taste homemade. But I still like to come by here from time to time and the staff are always really friendly & helpful!

I absolutely love this ice cream and sandwich shop. The staff is so kind and welcoming, prices are great, and the shop is always clean and tidy. They have an awesome selection of ice cream flavors and their sandwiches are delicious. I love that you can now order through doordash and UberEats too! New owners are doing a great job!

Best ice cream on the beach. Definitely try the Cuban. My daughter had her first ice cream here and loved it.

This place is awesome! Just got ice cream for my family of 5, and it was a great price! Lots of flavor options, and they even have Cuban sandwiches and other food optiobs. Will definitely come back next time we are in the area! The staff was very sweet and parienpas out kids made their selections! 😊
